Scripture Engagement
Research Initiative
The Scripture Engagement Research Initiative is an independent research program hosted by Dallas International University. It is funded by private, external donations and ethically governed by the DIU Institutional Review Board. Research is conducted by lead researchers (DIU faculty) with a team of trained research associates (non-tenured faculty).
A statistical analysis of which factors most influence level of use in vernacular language programs. This research examines seventy Bible translation programs located in different cultural and religious contexts and initiated by different organizations. This is the largest study to date of Scripture Engagement factors in vernacular Bible translation programs.
